I was told not to install a registry cleaners if your not experience, which Im not. so how to make it easy and safe for me to clean and spead up my puter ? thaks sas
There are several good and safe registery cleaners available. Check them out at cnet.com and other software review sites. If you reinstall windows, you will lose all your music and folders that you put on your pc and start with a "clean" machine. It is easier to clean out "junk" using special software such as System Mechanic. It will do the work for you after you tell it to.
Do I just go through all the registry entries that have the name on it and delete them? Will it effect the rest of my computer? Its an old anti-virus program that I dont use anymore.
thats how you do it if your not going to use it anymore, of course you could just go into your programs menu and delete the program.
there are so many different registry clean ups being offered and they’re SOOO expensive. I’d like to find a good free one that is actually free…not a trial that lasts thirty days and doesn’t actually do anything. Any suggestions or advice?
There is bunch of freeware ones.
