I'm just curious and my PC's running slow lately. What is a registry cleaner and a registry? Will this make my computer faster? Thanks.

After installing some software I uninstalled them through control panel--> Add Remove --> programs
and even deleted that software entry from registry by --->Run-->Regedit--->Current User--->Software, deleted that software entry by right clicking on it and delete
and even searched for that by find option in registry and it is deleted from registry

The startup registry key is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\
CurrentVersion\Run. How can I add my software string to this key using an installer so that it will startup automatically when the customer boots up his system?
As I will not be there to do it for them, the installer needs to do it automatically.

I made some tweaks in Registry Editor by going to run --> regedit and since then my computer has been a little buggy. I don't remember all the changes I made and/or what they were originally so I was wondering if it was possible to restore the Registry Editor settings ...
