I have Norton Antivirus 2006 and I ran 2 full system scans and it detected no viruses or spyware. but somehow I still have pop ups and my desktop background keeps changing to spyware. Norton Antivirus isn't detecting this virus in the registry so how do I go ...

the particular virus is called Trojan-Downloader.Banload.BXM
my anti virus program spyware doctor found it.
said it removed it
but everytime i restart it would come back
so i went into registory editor through windows
and now i delete its entry
will it be gone?

From what I understand, registry editor does not come with windows vista. My dell inspirion laptop has been acting really weird. Mysterious beeps, files and folders moved around. Is someone hacking into my computer. How can I find out? Help!!!

It says 'Task Manager/Registry Editor has been disabled by your administrator'
