This may be a dumb question and you may have already done this - but if you installed the demo software, did you uninstall it? You didn't mention that in your question so that's the first thing I would do. If you did uninstall and you are still being required to register, then the answers above are your best solution. Good luck
References :
Some Where deep inside the registry is the setting that determines the number of days for trial programs.

You just asked the million dollar question.

Each vendor does it differently. But the bottom line is that the data is encrypted and a normal person can't find it.

Like the XP Product Key is in the registry and it is encrypted.
But some one figured out how to un-encrypt it.

Maybe somebody one day will figure out an answer to your question. I would like to know to. So if you find out let me know.

registry cleaner , unless you are comfortable with regedit , but from the sounds you are not

if you want to try to do it by yourselft try this

>Go to Start menu , than run .
>Type "regedit" Without the " "
>When it is opened press "CTRL+F"
>it opens find , now type the software name in , try to keep it as short as possible .
>Press Find Next
>now Right click and delete anything that has to do with your program .

But keep in mind if you delete something important , you could break your computer , so before trying , back up your registry by doing this

> While In RegEdit ,Press the File Menu
>Now Press "Export"
>Now Name it RegBackup
>Save to your Desktop
>If you think you broke something or your pc is unstable , than open regedit (if you can) , go to file , press import and find your backup.

Good Luck .
