how can i use windows registry editor to undo some damage?
December 9th, 2009 | by admin |a virus managed to creep into the system, now the system can’t display images, not even the wallpaper appears. i don’t know my way around the registry editor, can anyone guide me?
Chances are the damage is too extensive to be fixed with a few tweaks to the registry editor. I would recommend booting to a Windows install disk and running a repair installation (not a fresh install). That should fix your shortcuts and leave the rest of your data and profile in tact.
