How do I enable Task Manager and Registry Editor?

December 12th, 2009 | by admin |

It says ‘Task Manager/Registry Editor has been disabled by your administrator’

Download Combofix and scan your computer, it will restore default settings and remove the malware thats causing it.
If you want to know anyways, try this on windows XP :
Go to Start ->Run -> type gpedit.msc->hit enter
Go to User Configuration->administrative templates->System->Ctrl+alt+del
On the right panel Double click Remove task manager Select Not configured or Disabled and apply.
Similarly for folder options or registry editor search for there respective options in gpedit console and fix them.
If its a malware causing it, next time you reboot your system again your taskmgr, folder options and registry editor will be disabled.

    talk sweetly to your network admin and ask for special priviledges for a little fun on the side!
