how do i get rid of a homepage hijacker in the registry editor?
February 19th, 2010 | by admin |i right click and delete the value but it comes right back on again?
u should kill or terminate the ‘hijacking’ process(es) first and then restore settings (ie. deleting the reg value). get Norton Antivirus or something which can remove the threat if u can’t do it manually. use ‘msconfig’ or boot in Safe Mode if u want the process not to be loaded in memory so u can clean up (maybe it’s invoked in My Computer\ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ Software\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Run)
