Not sure what type of errors you are getting but my dad had so many registry errors on his computer, he was anticipating taking it to a computer shop. A friend of mine recommended this software so I downloaded it and boot it up on my dad’s computer. The errors went away after the software was done. CCleaner (www.ccleaner.com) has a nice one that also removes the clutter from your system
RegscrubXP is another freebie that is cool also
RegistryMechanic is a nice one too

To be truthful, you can use 100’s of them and never have all of them pick the same errors up. The problem is the software developing.. It is best to get one that allows upgrades like ccleaner and regmechanic.
Remember, it is best to always back up repairs and these programs at times, tend to remove files that you have not used in a while, that are also needed to make a program work.

Sorry to tell you this, but a registry error is usually fixed by resetting your whole system and everything. Just put the files you want on another hard drive and then reset windows, takes 2 hours and your registry gets fixed with no problems in the files you still need.
