What is a good website to get Free Registry Cleaner software?
December 9th, 2009 | by admin |My laptop is very slow. I was advised to try a registry cleaner because I never use it before.
Hello,
Try this freeware software:

I’ve yet to understand exactly how cleaning out the windows registry will actually speed a computer up, do people not realise that the registry is just a database that is only ever accessed when a piece of software wants to look up one tiny bit of data?
It’s a bit like spitting in the bath to fill it faster.

online cleaners, well if you want as many trojans and viruses as you can possibly get, feel free to use any online cleaner you want.
But my advice is to buy one through a store. I’ve crashed my computer so many times trying to use online cleaners that its just not worth it anymore.
Now and days anytime I see any "go to this website to make your computer faster" I bust out laughing and say "Yeah right, not falling for that again, then I think of all the people who will fall for this commercial and crash their computer and how sad this will be.
Let me ask you, whats more important, your computer being a little slow and still having all your music, photos, files or whatever is on your computer; or having a faster computer and losing everything on your computer because the computer crashed and you had to wipe out your entire drive just to get it to work again.
Again, its safer to buy one through a store you can walk in and say "I want this". This way you know there isn’t 50 trojans attached to it. The websites pretend to clean your drive as it downloads trojans, viruses and worms.

What makes you think your registry is dirty?
Start, Run, Msconfig. Choose Selective Startup and uncheck Load Startup items. Restart. If that helps, uncheck the guilty parties on the Startup tab. It’s ok to run the system with no startup items at all.
Or if the system was always slow and still is after the tests, install more RAM.
