where can I download a free registry repair software?

I would like to scan and repair my windows vista registry cos my comp keeps crashing with a blue screen, does any know of a reliable FREE registry repair program I can download. Thanks

    scan it first with spybot and search or Yahoo anti spy bar. the latter got rid of a hijacker and loads of tracking cookies.

    I have the same question, but found that downloading something from the internet made it worse, so I asked the man in our local computer shop about it…he said a lot of these internet things actually have viruses in…so be careful which one you choose.I spent £45 having mine dealt with in the shop.
