How can I get a registry repair program to run. dwnloaded and keeps asking me what prog to use to open.?
November 4th, 2009 | by admin |trying to get rid of rundll error. i have download several tops recommendations to repair registry. cannot get any to run because it asks what program to use to open file???????
It sounds like you have downloaded some adware on your computer. Download AdAware from http://www.lavasoft.com/ and run it. It should remove the adware from your computer. Try this before you go messing around with your registry.

Restart the computer. Keep pressing F8 until you get a menu. Select safe mode.
If it won’t run in that, restart and keep pressing F11. If your computer’s manufacturer installed a repair partition, that will get you into it. Let it repair Windows.
