How does Microsoft address "registry repair" problem?

December 9th, 2009 | by admin |

Several third party vendors sell software to scan and repair "registry". Seems it is a common probelm. Does Microsoft has a fix for this problem other than do a system restor to an earlier date?

What are you saying is the problem?

That there are 3rd party registry repair software, or that you didn’t back up your registry as they recommended and now your registry is hosed?

These registry errors do no real harm. Programs like Registry mechanic will find and repair defects, though. MS does nothing to the registry.
