Where can I get a registry repair program (preferably for free) for my laptop?
December 20th, 2009 | by admin |Currently, my laptop is slowing down significantly, and I know some of the registry files on it have been corrupted.
Where can I find the software to repair this with?
Unfortunatly free registry repair software is hard to come by… Usually when found it is either fake and covered in malware or is complete crud… I dont recommend using a free registry repair program as they are usually made by people who know a lot but not nearly as much as might be needed… programs that mess with the registry can ruin your computer and in the end you could end up forking out a hundred or two hundred dollars to a repair man or waste alot of time trying to fix it… i would just spend 20$-40$ on an ok registry repair program… I recommend 3BSoftwares windows registry Repair Pro.. (20$) I would delete any temporary files on your computer and then use the windows hard drive defragmenter. after that I would use Auslogics registry defragmenter (Free Registry Defrag NOT REPAIR) (which will reorganize the registry and allow it to be used faster)… If you find a free program i recommend scanning it for virus’s I believe mcafee has a free scanner or if you want free antivirus protection Avast! Antivirus works great and comes with real time scanning… If you have any questions about how to use any of these programs or any other info please email me or IM me at cj_lone_wolf@yahoo.com
