In Windows Registry what is the path for uninstalled programs?

December 1st, 2009 | by admin |

I know that some programs still remain in windows registry after they are unistalled. Where exactly can I find them in the registry?
Is there a folder in the registry that contains all uninstalled software or do I have to search for them one by one?

hkey_current_user —- then ——– software go there and and delete entire folder of that software which u already uninstall

hkey_current_user

software

hope u got the point

no u have to search one by one they are all in one folder i.e "software" not all software remain but only few of them remain in registry after uninstall such as "avg anti-virus" so its easy to find.

When the software doesn’t clean up after itself it can be anywhere in the registry.

Simplest solution would be to use a registry cleaning program like CCleaner.
